Napoli Da Vivere Suites Giudecca is an apartment on the fourth floor without lift of an early twentieth century building.
It is located in the historic district of Forcella, one of the most characteristic neighborhoods in all of Naples. Rich in history, culture and tradition, it was already a place of great importance and mysticism since the times of the ancient Greeks.
Its name has remote but amusing origins: the Y-shaped crossroads reminded the Neapolitans of the shapes of a fork, that is a piece of wood, iron or other material that widens by forking at the very end.
However, the district has very ancient origins: about 2300 years ago the Greek colonists, landing on the coasts of Naples, traced an ancient decumanus which is still today located just below the city.

Forcella was the theater of the history of the city, it hides all the secrets and collects all the most beautiful and fascinating tradition of Partenope. Until the arrival of the Spaniards in Naples, the neighborhood had been a reception center for all Jews starting from the Roman era: in fact, there was one of the three Giudecche of the city of which today we preserve finds of some buildings that do not represent anything else. than the passions and emotions of all those Jews who lived there until the sixteenth century. But with the arrival of the Spaniards in Naples, Forcella was immediately dismantled.
Today mistakenly considered a second-rate neighborhood, it represents the heart of the city.
